Amidst this COVID-19 pandemic and recommendations for social distancing, social isolation, and quarantine, not to mention people hoarding many foods like bread, milk (which I don’t really get because they are perishable), and canned goods, it feels like the perfect time to get in touch with our grass roots.
Vegetarian, vegan, whole food plant based, keto, microbiom… there are a whole lot of food trend buzz words floating around right now. And even more conflicting “information”. It doesn’t help that the judgment from fundamentalists makes it disheartening for people to join any Facebook groups, just looking for guidance and inspiration.
I’ve been pondering changing my eating habits for a while, and for a myriad of reasons.
Personal health: as I am approaching 40 and not finished having babies yet, my health and increasing energy, chances of conceiving, creating the most nourishing home for baby, are at the top of my list.
